الرواية تتكون من ثلاثة فصول، فصل تكلم فيه الكاتب بصوته، وفصل تكلمت الشخصيات بصوتها وصوت ضميرها، وفصل خُتمت به الرواية. هي قليلة التفاصيل وكثيرة الأحداث، فقلة تفاصيلها متعمدة لأن الهدف منها ليس إظهار قوة الخيال بقدر ماحرصت على إظهار قوة الكلمة وصدقها. الرواية اعتمدت بشكل رئيسي على الحوار الداخلي في كل نفس. سواءً المحسنة أو المسيئة، فلكل نفس حديث داخلي وضمير يؤنبها. فحرصنا على إظهار هذه النوعية من الأحاديث التي لاتُرى بالعين المجردة ولكني أعتقد أن القلم الجيد يستطيع إظهارها لكي تُقرأ وتؤثر
