هذا جزء لطيف، حررت فيه بعض أخبار شيخنا العلامة، الشيخ عبد الفتاح بن محمد بن بشير بن حسن أبو غدة الحلبي منشأ، الحنفي مذهبًا، دفين المدنية المنورة رحمه الله وطيب ثراه، أردت أن يكون لمحاسنه ذاكرًا، ولجميل أخلاقه مظهرًا، ولكتاباته التي سارت بها الركبان سافرًا، حداني إلى كتابته ما أمرنا به من إنزال الناس منازلهم. وقد رتبته على أربعة فصول:
الأول: نبذة مختصرة عن حياة الشيخ، الثاني: في كتابات الشيخ: الثالث: نظرات في بعض كتب الشيخ، الرابع: بين الشيخ عبد الفتاح وبعض المعارضين له. وقد سميته: "الشذا الفواح في أخبار الشيخ عبد الفتاح". وهذا وليست الترجمة في نظري لرصد سنوات الولادة، والوفاة، والمناصب، وكلمات المدح والرثاء فقط، بل ينبغي أن تستوعب الترجمة له وجنبته المضيئة التي تحتوي المصنفات.
