حين تجد باحثاً سوسيولوجياً عربياً أو لبنانياً يطرح في مطلع بحثه سؤال الإنطلاق، ثم تسأله لماذا السؤال، لن تسمع منه إلاّ جواباً واحداً هو: لقد استخدمه عالم إجتماع غربي في إطار نموذج تحليلي، أي أنه نقل شكل ممارسة السؤال ونموذجه ثم ترجمة إلى العربية من دون أن يدرك معناه العلمي.
فسؤال الإنطلاق هو سؤال مؤقت يخفي التناقض في الإتجاه التجريبي بين نظريته في المعرفة التي ترجع إلى الملاحظة، وبين ممارسته التي تنطلق من الفكرة، ولكي يجري حل التناقض المذكور، طرح السؤال بصيغة المؤقت من حيث هي شكل توفيقي بين نظرية المعرفة التجريبية وممارستها.
وهذا الحل يدرك معناه بالطبع عالم الإجتماع في الغرب، فياتي سؤاله محكوماً بديمومة الموضوع الذي اختاره في البحث (الموضوع = فكرة)، في حين أن الباحث في بلادنا لا يدرك معنى الحل، فيكون سؤاله ظرفياً قد يتغير في المسار البحثي إلى سؤال جديد حول الموضوع نفسه، وذلك بسبب النقل والترجمة، كذلك هي الحال مع الباحث نفسه حين يطرح الإشكالية في صيغة سؤال أو أسئلة متراصفة.
وعندما تطلب إليه أن يفسّر لماذا صيغت الإشكالية سؤالاً أو مجموعة أسئلة؟ يجيبك بأنها وردت على هذا النحو في القواميس الغربية، او أنها استخدمت هكذا لدى الباحثين الغربيين، وفي الحالين يكون قد نقل أحد أشكال ممارسة الإشكالية في الغرب من دون أن يعي معناها العلمي.
