لقد بدأت تسلبه الفكر بعد الإنتباه، وسطت على خواطره حتى لو كانت أثمة، فوقف ليعاتب نفسه على ما أل إليه حاله: "ما هذا الذي أنا فيه!! كيف أفكر!! أي شيطان قد سلبني رشدي؟! لماذا أنا طوع قولها؟!! لماذا أهادئها واسمع لها؟!!
لقد أصابني شئ من الجنون أو الخبل.... فأنا أهوي في مستنقع عفن إلا أنه شئ غير محسوب العواقب... لو أنها ذاهلة عن نفسها فما أنا بسارق الأعراض، كيف... كيف اتجاوز حرمات ثلاثاً وأعتاباً جساماً!! لو أنها أرادت لهواً فما أنا بالصغير على هذا !
ستحطم الدنيا وتلحق الدمار بالجميع... لكن ماذا سيكون الحال لو أن الحياة تلك تحطمت دونها وبقيت هي بمفردها!!
