يذكر هذا الكتاب سيرة الامام احمد فان سيرته من اطيب السير فهو الامام البارع الفقهيه المحدق المجمع على امامته وامانته وعمله وزهده وورعه وحفظه ووفور عقله وسيادته فهو ناصر الاسلام والسنة الثانى فى تاريخ الاسلام بعد حخليفة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ابى بكر الصديق رضى الله عنه الذى ثبت الله به الامه فى الرده الى وقع فيها كثير من العرب عقب وفاة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وقد حمى الله الامه باحمد بن حنبل امام الملسمين وسيدهم فابى ان يجيب الى هذا القول فسجن وضرب وجلد ومارد ذلك عن عقيدته الصحيحة السلفية السنية حتى اعز الدين والمسلمين بالخليفة المتوكل رحمه الله فنصر السنة وابطل القول بخلف القران ونشر مذهب السلف ودعا اليه .
