وهذا ليس كل شيء بل يمكن للطفل القيام أيضاً بتلوين صفحات القصة بأجمل الألوان الزاهية التي تتناسب مع ذوقه الخاص، والتوجه الخاص الكامن خلف التلوين هو تعويد الطفل على حمل قلم التلوين ومن ثم قلم الرصاص للكتابة.
هذا كله موجه للطفل أما الأهل فعليهم قراءة صفحة الغلاف والتي جاءت محتوية على سرد مشوق لأحداث القصة المصورة والخاصة بالطفل، وبالتالي توجيه خيال الطفل نحو أحداث معينة يربط بينها وبين ما يراه أمامه في القصة من صور جاءت بالأبيض الأسود. وما يميز هذا العرض أنه جاء مكملاً بعلبة من التلوين يستخدمها الطفل في تزيين صفحات القصة التي يقرؤها.
