يمكن وصف هذا الديوان بأنه رحلة داخل أعماق النفس البشرية؛ وذلك بأستخدام أوات غير تقليدية؛ فقصائد مثل الربيع والخريف والشتاء والصيف هى بطبيعتها قصائد موحية يستطيع القارئ معها أن يتقبل الأفكار التى تحتويها من خلال تصوره المسبق لحاله فى هذه الشهور؛ فرمزية الصيف وكذلك الشتاء تشيران إلى الحياة وصعوباتها؛ وكذلك الخريف الذى تكون فيه الحياة ضبابية بعض الشئ؛ أما الربيع فهو البهجة التى تدخل السرور إلى القلب كالأطفال تماماً؛ وبالنسبة لقصائد كالحياة والفناء والأمل واليأس فهى تظهر التضاد الذى يصيب الإنسان فى رحلته من المهد إلى اللحد؛ أما بالنسبة لقصيدة الرحيل فهى تغنى بأبراز دور الشعوب فى تغيير مستقبلها للأفضل.
