أمام براءة الطفولة، تنفضح قساوة ممارسات الاحتلال، وأيّة قساوة هي تلك التي لا ترحم براءة الطفولة؟ ففي حين يشكل الأطفال حوالي نصف المجتمع الفلسطيني، فإن هؤلاء الأطفال محرومون بسبب ممارسات الإحتلال المتكررة من معظم حقوقهم، من عيشٍ كريم، وصحة سليمة، وبيئة آمنة، وتعليم ومأوى وغذاء. لقد طالت اعتداءات الاحتلال أهلهم وأصدقاءهم، ودمرت صواريخه وجرافاته منازلهم ومدارسهم، وحاصرتهم دباباته في بيوتهم أياماً وشهوراً. ولم تكتف قساوته بهذا الحد، فكان استهدافه المباشر لهم، وكان منهم الشهداء والجرحى والأسرى. كل هذا يحدث في وقت طوى فيه العالم صفحة الاستعمار التقليدي البغيض، ولكنه أبقى على الاستعمار الإستيطاني الصهيوني في فلسطين.
وهذه الدراسة هي الجزء الثالث من سلسلة "أولست إنساناً"، التي يسعى مركز الزيتونة من خلالها إلى تقديم صورة متكاملة عن المعاناة التي يتسبب بها الإحتلال الإسرائيلي لفلسطين، بأسلوب يخاطب العقل والقلب وفي اطار علمي ومنهجي موثق.
