بلغة شعرية موحية وجذابة يكتب عبد العزيز الراشدي يوميات أسفاره في غير مدينة غربية وشرقية، من جنيف إلى باريس، ومن دمشق إلى بيروت إلى القاهرة إلى عمان والمنامة في البحرين، ومدن أخرى، ثم في بلده المغرب حيث مراكش وفاس وأغادير وغيرها من المدن التي تأسر زائرها، يكتب بلغة سلسلة وصافية وموحية، لغة نقت نفسها من شوائب السرد، لترقى إلى فضاء الشعري، وإذ تتدفق الأسئلة المضمرة في دهشة الكلام عما يرى الكاتب وما يسمع وكذا ما يحس به مشاعر عميقة يسمها حزن وجودي دفين، وفكاهة خفيفة هي بعض مما في خفة المرء، بينما هو يتجول في العالم بين البشر وأمام المناظر الخلابة، وتلك الباعثة على الحيرة مما يزخر به الوجود من جمال، مدارياً أعماقه المتسائلة المفعمة بالدهشة، والمأخوذة نحو الأسئلة الجمة التي يثيرها في الرحالة سفره بين العوالم.
لكننا مع هذه اليوميات لرحالة من المغرب، يتجول في عالمه وعوالم الآخرين، نحن لسنا بإزاء وظيفة تقليدية لكاتب يصف ما يرى، ولسنا بإزاء محترف أسفار يدوّن بدقة وصرامة ويعرفنا بما عرف، لسنا أمام شيء من هذا، فالرحالة الحديث كما في حال عبد العزيز الراشدي أقرب ما يكون إلى شاعر يغامر في أفق شعري، يقتبس من المكان ضوءاً ويسرح به في فضاءات المكان، يلمح أكثر مما يصرّح، وينفذ من الصورة إلى ما وراءها، وما وراءها عالمان عالم نراه وعالم نستبطنه، غير دواخلنا وما تهيم به من صور وأخيلة وتأملات.
بهذا المعنى فإن هذه اليوميات هي سفر الذات من خلال السفر في العالم، ومحاولة لاكتشاف دواخلنا بينما نحن نتأمل في صور العالم ومظاهره، في الطبيعة والبشر والعمران.
وهذه الكتابة، لا شك أنها تصدر عن وعي بالعالم وبالكتابة يتجاوز الفكرة البسيطة عن وصف الرحالة لما يراه، إلى الفكرة الأبعد التي تتيح له النفاذ من خلال ما يرى في العالم إلى عمق المسألة في بعدها الوجودي، وإلى أبعاد في الظواهر والمشاهد لا ترى إلا بعينين تدربتا على إطاعة الحواس بينما هي تتلمس الوجود وتتشربه بكل ما أعطيت من طاقة مبدعة وبصيرة مرهفة.
ولهذه الإعتبارات ارتأت لجنة التحكيم أن تكرم صاحبها باختيار نصه لجائزة إبن بطوطة للرحلة المعاصرة في دورتها التاسعة للسنة 2013-2014.
