يأتي هذا الكتاب، والذي هو بعنوان: "الخطب السنية" للعلامة مصطفى البولاقي، ليعبر بلسان الصدق عن صورة حية من صور الحياة العلمية في مسيرة الحياة الدعوية.
إن مكتب الشؤون الفنية يهدف من وراء هذا الإصدار إلى الأهداف التالية:
-التركيز على مدى عناية الوزارة بفن الخطابة وترقيته إلى المستوى المطلوب.
-حث الخطباء على أن تكون خطبهم قصيرة نسبياً، وبليغة فصيحة، وذلك هو الملائم للهدى النبوي، فقد أرشد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم الخطباء من أمته إلى هذا بقوله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "إن من مئنى فقه الرجل قصر خطبته وطول صلاته".
-الاستفادة من عبر التاريخ ودروسه، مع توظيف ذلك في الخطبة.
إن هذا العمل العلمي يكتسي أهمية متميزة باعتباره يجمع خطباً كانت قد أنشئت في زمن متوسط في البعد والقرب، وذلك يجمع بين أصالة الكلمة وبلاغة العبارة.
وهذا الكتاب عبارة عن حلقة في سلسلة التراث العلمي الذي يقدمه مكتب الشؤون الفنية، بترتيب وتهذيب إمام وخطيب المسجد الكبير/ الدكتور وليد بن محمد بن عبد الله العلي.
