وقد كان رسول الله عز وجل يستخدم الحوار كوسيلة للتواصل والتراحم مع الغير.. لقد كان النبى "صلى الله عليه وسلم" يحاور ليلاطف, أو ليعلم ويربى, أو ليدعو إلى الإسلام, أو ليفاوض, أو ليتعايش مع من حوله, وكل هذه السبل تفتقر إلى الرحمة, وصدق الله تعالى "وما أرسلناك إلا رحمة للعالمين".
إن هذا الكتاب يستعرض مواقف الحوار فى حياة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم, ليثبت حقيقة مفادها: أن الحوار كان أحد معالم منهج حياة الرسول "صلى الله عليه وسلم", ولم يكن حدثا نادرا فى مواقف عارضة, فالرسول "صلى الله عليه وسلم" لم يكن ديكتاتورا يأمر وينهر ولا يطيق سماع رأي آخر ككثير من الناس فى بيوتهم, أو الحكام فى ملكهم, بل كان كثير الحوار, محسنا الاستماع للغير كما سيثبت هذا الكتاب بإذن الله...
