يبلغ هذا البحث المتواضع الموسوم بــ ((المنة فيمن بشره النبي بالجنة)) قدراً من الأهمية لعدة أسباب منها: إن الغاية الأساسية التي يعمل لها المؤمنون هي نيل الجنة في الآخرة ولأن سلعة الله تعالى غالية كان لا بد من بذل الغالي والنفيس من أجل الحصول عليها، وعن طريق معرفة من بشره النبي بالجنة نعرف أعمالهم وبذلهم في سبيل الله تعالى والتي تكشف لنا بصورة واضحة روح الإسلام والبذل في سبيل رفعة هذا الدين، كما أن من الأسباب التعرف على حياة من بشره النبي بالجنة بصورة مباشرة من أجل الإقتداء بهم وبأعمالهم، فضلاً إلى تصحيح الفكرة لدى عموم الناس والتي تنص إن اللذين بشرهم النبي بالجنة هم عشرة فقط وهو ما اصطلح على تسميتهم بالعشرة المبشرة وفي الحقيقة أن الكثير من الصحابة قد بشرهم النبي بالجنة مثل أهل بدر وأهل بيعة الرضوان وغيرهم ولكن هنالك مواقف فردية قام بعض الصحابة فبشرهم النبي بالجنة وهم يمثلون عدة هذا البحث ويبلغ عددهم أكثر من سبعين صحابي وصحابية.
