وهو ما سوف يتضح من خلال هذا الكتاب الذي يهدف إلى وضع حد لفهم الآخر وقبوله.. ووضع حد للبحث العلمي والنقل الموضوعي وأب الخلاف في دئة الدين وإيجاد ميزان لضبط حركة التناول لقضايا الدين وحسم الخلاف بين المسلمين.. وهو محاولة لدفع المسلمين إلى الانشغال بالقضايا الكبرى والمصيرية التي تفرض نفسها على ساحتهم اليوم. وعسى أن نكون قد وفقنا من خلال صفحات هذا الكتاب في عرض أفكار وعقائد الطرفين من خلال مصادرهما المعتمدة وإلقاء الضوء على طبيعة الخلاف بينهما راجين الله سبحانه أن يكون ذلك سبيلًا لتحقيق التعارف بين المسلمين الذي هو مقدمة ضرورية لتوحيد صفوفهم وكلمتهم.
