- دعي إلى مهمات علمية في الولايات المتحدة وبريطانيا عدة مرات، فترات مختلفة.

في هذا الكتاب عدة بحوث تناولت كلها موضوع التعليم فى المملكة العربية السعودية نظرا لأهمية هذا الموضوع من أجل التطور والنهوض بالأجيال القادمة فيتناول الباحثون بالدراسة مناهج التعليم وطرق تدريس الجغرافيا ودراسات أخرى حول كيفية إعداد المعلم وقد قام بهذه الدراسات أساتذه كبار يؤكد عملهم هذا المستوى العلمي الرفيع الذي تمت به لأنهم لم يهتموا بالتعليم في المراحل الأساسية فقط بل أهتموا كذلك بتعليم الكبار وبالتربية الرياضية حتى أنهم لم يغفلوا الجانب التاريخي وتطور التعليم فى الإسلام وبدايته على أرض الجزيرة العربية بل أنهم تناولوا مراحل التعليم قبل ظهور الاسلام أيضا. هذا الكتاب شديد الأهمية لما فيه من دراسات غزيرة ومفيده حول موضوع التعليم في أرض قد حباها الله وشرفها بنزول رسالة الإسلام فيها وبظهور مصدر الطاقة الرئيسى وهو النفط فيها لتعزز قوتها الحضارية بقوتها المادية وثرائها.
