إن الدراسات الصرفية- الصوتية، هو اتجاه سلكته الدراسات اللغوية الحديثة في كل لغات العالم، وهذا البحث المتواضع، الذي أرجو أن يكون لبنة صغيرة في جدار العربية الشامخ، وأن ينتفع به بفضل من الله، ما هو إلا محاولة لأدلو بدلوي في في هذا المسلك الشائك، فتناولت ظاهرة المخالفة- وهي ظاهرة صوتية، وتتبعتها في الدراسات اللغوية القديمة والحديثة في العربية وغيرها، واتبعتها بدراسة عملية تطبيقية في الأفعال الرباعية المجردة، والأفعال الرباعية المكررة، وانتهت الدراسة بمحاولة للوقوف على الأصوات التي يقع فيها الإبدال في ضوء هذه الظاهرة.
وقد شرعت في الكتابة على أساس خطة تقسم البحث على بابين: الأول دراسة نظرية والثاني دراسة تطبيقية، والدراسة النظرية تشمل تمهيدًا وثلاثة فصول هي: المخالفة، المخالفة في غير العربية، المخالفة في العربية، والتطبيقية اشتملت على فصلين هما: المخالفة "دراسة صرفية"، المخالفة "دراسة صوتية".
