هذا هو الديوان الرابع للشاعر السكندرى " سمير إدريس " بعد ثلاثة دواوين سابقة هى ( سكلانس - أنسيت الحب - خلبيطة ) . وسمير إدريس غنى عن التعريف فهو واحد من أولئك الذين يمتلكون مقومات الشعراء الكبار كونه يسير على خطي المنضبطين عروضيا ، فضلا عن مرونته الشديدة فى الحفاظ على نبض العصر عبر اختياره للموضوعات التى يتناولها وربما يعود ذلك الى مجموعة الخبرات التى تراكمت لديه جراء اعتراك الحياة والشعر والسفر .
هي فكرة كانت تلح على خاطري من مدة وقررت البدء بتنفيذها ليخرج الديوان الرابع إلى النور وقد اخترت له اسم (عاطفة بلا حدود) والتي تتضمن جميع أشعار الفصحى والعامية التي كتبتها في موضوع الابن أحمد ولما كانت هذه الأعمال في السنوات الاخيرة منذ ديواني الثالث (خلطبيطة)وبنفس المنطق الذي اتبعته في الديوان أقدم مجموعة من أشعار الفصحى والعامية والأغاني.
