هذه رسالة لطيفة كتبها العلامة عبد الغني المقدسي في زوج زينب بنت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ساق فيها عدة روايات في هذا الخصوص.
وهذه الرسالة هي جزء من الأجزاء الحديثية التي اعتنى بها الحفاظ والمحدثون، لبيان فوائد إسنادية، وفوائد تتعلق بالمتن، وهو نص الحديث.
ومؤلف هذا الجزء هو الحافظ تقي الدين أبو محمد عبد الغني بن عبد الواحد بن علي بن سرور بن رافع بن حسن بن جعفر المقدسي الجماعيلي ثم الدمشقي المنشأة، الصالحي الحنبلي.
وكان يحفظ أكثر من مائة ألف حديث، وكان يقارن بالحافظ الدارقطني.
وقال الحافظ في السير: "كان يضيع شيئاً من زمانه بلا فائدة، فإنه كان يصلي الفجر، ويلقن القرآن، وربما اقرأ شيئاً من الحديث تلقيناً، ثم يقوم فيتوضأ.
وله تصانيف جليلة، ذكرها الحافظ الذهبي وغيره، منها: "الأحكام الكبرى والأحكام الصغرى، والمصباح في عيون الأحاديث الصحاح، واليواقيت، والتهجد، وفضائل مكة، وذم الغيبة، وغيرها كثير.
