يقول رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- "بني الإسلام على خمس شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمد رسول الله وإقامة الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة وصوم رمضان وحج البيت لمن استطاع إليه سبيلا".
فالركن الأول: قول وبقية الأركان عمل وكلها تحتاج إلى إيمان ينبع من القلب ولما كان الإسلام كذلك قول وعمل ونية ولما كنا لا نعتمد في نهضتنا على منهج آخر سواء وجب أن نبين للناس أن عوامل النهضة كامنة فيه لا نحتاج إلا ليد تحسن استخراجها والعمل بها وهذا البحث يبحث فقط في ركن الصلاة التي هي عماد النهضة.
إنها نظرة جديدة إلى الصلاة نعرف من خلالها كيف تقرر الصلاة مبادئ النهضة؟ وكيف تزرع الصلاة فينا العزة. وكيف تربط الأرض بالسماء؟، إنها نظرة جديدة إلى الصلاة نعرف من خلالها أن لا نهضة بغير طهور كما لا صلاة بغير طهور. ونعرف من خلالها ما يحتويه الأذان (نداء النهضة) من معان تهئ الأرض لقبول التغيير باسم الله.
نعرف من خلال تلك النظرة الجديدة إلى الصلاة أن محاريب النهضة هي المساجد نقرر من خلال تلك النظرة شروط صحة الصلاة ووجوبها التي هي في ذات الوقت شروط لصحة النهضة وهي كذلك شروط لوجوبها.
إنها نظرة جديدة إلى الصلاة تنطلق من إيماننا بأذن الله رب العالمين أحاط بكل شئ علماً وضمن لو صح فهمنا كل ركن من أركان دينه عوامل النهضة ولكن ماذا نفعل لأناس فهموا أن أركان الدين عمل بالجوارح ونسوا التفكير بأسرارها؟ وماذا نفعل مع من أفردوا المجلدات الضخام للحديث عن الصلاة وأركانها ومبطلاتها ونسوا في خضم بحثهم أن يفردوا باباً واحدا للحديث عن الصلاة عماد النهضة وسرها؟.
إننا ابتلينا على مر تاريخنا بمن ينشغل بالظواهر ولا يعير البواطن أدنى اهتمام، ابتلينا على مر تاريخنا بمن يفصل بين الصلاة والقيادة وبين الصلاة والنهضة وبين الصلاة والمجتمع ويفصل بين الصلاة والتحرر ويفصل بين الصلاة والعزة.
ياقومنا هذا وقت العمل لا وقت الكلام. إننا مدعوون لإنقاذ العالم وإنقاذ أنفسنا قبل ذلك ولن يتم هذا الإنقاذ إلا بالإسلام الذي جعل من الصلاة عماداً له وهي كذلك عماد لنهضة أمته.
