تحت عنوان " أندلسيات " يقدم أ. د. محمد علي دبّور أربعة ابحاث ، من تاريخ الفردوس المفقود وحضارته " وهي أبحاث كان قد نشرها في مجلات علمية محلية وإقليمية . وقد جمعها اليوم ليقدمها للقارىء العربي في صيغة جديدة ، وهذه الأبحاث هي :
البحث الأول : ملامح المجتمع الأندلسي كما تصورها الأمثال الأندلسية خلال القرنين السابع والثامن الهجريين ، وفيها حاول المؤلف إبراز أهمية الأمثال الأندلسية كوثيقة إجتماعية مهمة وأقرب إلى الصدق في وصفها لجوانب كثيرة من الحياة في المجتمع الأندلسي .
البحث الثاني : المنيات الأندلسية ودورها السياسي والحضاري حتى نهاية القرن الخامس الهجري / الحادي عشر الميلادي ، وفيه تحدث المؤلف عن طبيعة بلاد الأندلس الساحرة ، وما تميزت به من الهواء العليل والأنهار المتدفقة وغيرها من عوامل الجمال التي جعلت الشعراء والأدباء يصفونها بأنها جنة الله في الأرض ، وأما عن تسمية ( المنيات ) فيقصد بها القصور الملكية الخاصة بأفراد السلطة الحاكمة ومَن يتصل بهم من الوزراء والحجّاب وغيرهم .
البحث الثالث : عن المؤرخ أبو بكر بن الصيرفي الغرناطي وكتابه : الأنوار الجلية في أخبار الدولة المرابطية ، قراءة نقدية في المصادر ، وفيه تناول المؤلف وكتابه المفقود - كما يظهر من عنوانه - ينتمي إلى كتب تاريخ الأسر ، حيث أسرة المرابطين التي حكمت المغرب والأندلس خلال القرن الخامس والسادس الهجريين .
البحث الرابع : الرحالة الأندلسيون في القدس الشريف : القاضي أبو بكر بن العربي أنموذجاً ، وفيه تحدث المؤلف عن شغف الرحالة الأندلسيين بالسفر إلى الأماكن الإسلامية المقدسة ، ومنها القدس والمسجد الأقصى ، ومنهم القاضي العربي التي كانت رحلته سجلاً حافلاً بالعديد من المعطيات العلمية والثقافية والأثرية لتلك المدن .
يؤسس هذا الكتاب لبنة أساسية في صرح الدراسات الأندلسية ، وهو بمثابة مصدر مهم لكل المتخصصين في التاريخ الأندلسي وعاشقي الفردوس المفقود .
