تتناول هذهِ الرسالة مَبحَثَ "التناقض" عندَ كلٍّ مِنَ المَناطقةِ والأصُوليينَ وبَيان أثرهِ في الفُروعِ الفقهيّةِ، وذلك مِن خِلالِ ثلاثةِ مَحاورَ رئيسيَّة: المحور الأولَ: بَيانُ مَفهومِ "التناقض" عِندَ المَناطقةِ، بتَفصيلٍ ودِراسَةٍ لكافَّةِ مُتعَلقاتهِ عِندهُم، المحور الثاني: بَيانُ مَفهومِ "التناقض" عندَ الأصوليين، وبَيانُ مَنزلتهِ بينَ مَباحِثِ عِلم أصولِ الفقهِ، والتأصيلِ لهُ، مِن خِلالِ بعضِ مَباحِثِ التعارُضِ والترجيحِ، المحور الثالث: بَيانُ أثرِ "التناقض" في الفُروعِ الفقهيَّةِ، مِنْ خلالِ دِراسَةِ أثرهِ في الدَّعوى والشَّهادةِ والإقرار، وكان من المهم التمهيدُ لهذا كُلِّهِ ببيَانِ (الصِّلةِ بينَ عِلمِ المَنطقِ وعِلمِ أصُول الفقهِ) ليكونَ سِيَاقُ البَحثِ مُتصلاً منطقيَّاً، مُتدرجاً مِنَ الكُليِّ إلى الجُزئيِّ، ومِنَ العَامِّ إلى الخاصِّ.
