لقد أورث الله محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم علم الأولين والآخرين، وجمع بشخصه الكريم ما تفرق في إخوانه الأنبياء والمرسلين من مزايا فائقة، وخصوصيات نادرة لائقة، قال الله تعالى: "فبهداهم اقتده).
وقد امتثل أمر ربه فكان جامعاً للفضائل كلها، داعياً إلى محاسن الشيم، وكريم الأخلاق، بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة، وكان خير ما يعنى به الباحث الكشف عن خزائن كلام الله تعالى وكلام رسوله المعصوم، لمثل هذا جمع المؤلف الهمة، وعقد العزيمة، لإخراج ما أمكن من الدرر المكنونة، في شرح كلام الصادق المصدوق، نبينا محمد عليه من ربه أفضل الصلوات، وأتم التسليمات.
وسبق أن أصدر المؤلف كتاب: "الدروس الوعظية في الآداب النبوية، ثم أصدر كتاب آخر "مختارات من السنة"، والآن أصدر وضمنه في كتاب "المختار في المواعظ والأحكام والاخبار" لينتفع به الناس.
