قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:"الماهر بالقرآن مع السَفرة البررة"، وقال:"خيركم من تعلَم القرآن وعلَمه). وما هذا منه صلى الله عليه وسلم إلا ترغيب لأمته ودعوة لها إلى العكوف على كتاب الله تعلماً وتعليماً، وتلاوة وحفظاً، وتفقهاً، وتدبراً، وعملاً، وإشتغالاً به آناء الليل وأطراف النهار.
ولهذا كانت "معرفة القراءة وحفظها، سنة متَبعة يأخذها الآخر عن الأول، فمعرفة القراءة التي كان النبي صلى الله علية وسلم يقرأ بها، أو يقرَهم على القراءة بها، أو يأذن لهم وقد اقروا بها؛ سنة.
ومن هنا، يعلم أن تعلَم التلاوة الصحيحة القائمة على قواعد أهل الأداء من القرَاء المتقنين؛ من الواجبات المتحتمة والمطالب الشرعية على كل مكلَف. وإن سورة الفاتحة هي أولى ما يجوَد؛ لأنها ركن في صلاة كل مسلم، لا تصح صلاته إلا بقراءتها، كما قال صلى الله عليه وسلم: "لا صلاة لمن لا يقرأ بفاتحة الكتاب".
في هذا الكتاب:"الأخطاء الواقعة في سورة الفاتحة، من المصلين، وأئمة المساجد، والقارئين، موجَه إلى جميع المسلمين من العامة إلى القراء المتقنين، وإحتوى على بيان من مائتي (200) خطأ في سورة الفاتحة التي هي سبع آيات فقط.
