هذا الكتاب حرصت الشريعة الإسلامية على يد معلمها الأول النبي الأكرم صلى الله عليه وسلم على هداية هذه الأمة بإتخاذ الموضوعية والحيادية وعدم التعصب، وتقديم البرهان المناسب، مدعماً بالدليل للوصول إلى الحقيقة العلمية الرصينة.
وعليه، كان المنهج المتبع في بحثي المقارن بين المذاهب الإسلامية الثمانية (الحنفية، المالكية، الشافعية، الحنابلة، الإمامية، الظاهرية، الزيدية، الإباضية) من خلال تحرير المسألة تحريراً موضوعياً بعرض الرأي الشرعي والدليل المعتمد ومناقشته، ومن ثم الخروج بالرأي توافقاً - بحسب معطيات البحث - بالإعتماد على وسائل البحث العلمي الممكنة.
ومن هنا، لم اتخذ - منهجياً - ما اشتهر بين الباحثين من جعل التصنيف مذهبياً وأدرج تحته آراء منتميه كأن أقول (الإستصناع عند الحنابلة) أو (الإستصناع عند الحنفية)؛ فإن هذه الطريقة تشعر بوجود الهوة والفجوة بين أبناء الدين الحنيف، مستعيناً بكل ما تيسر من مصادر التشريع والإجتهاد الفقهي المتنوعة ذات الصلة بالبحث من كتب فقهية وحديثية وأصولية وعلمية ولغوية؛ بغية الوصول إلى نتائج جيدة.
