وتطلقني حنينًا في مجرات السماع
تعيدني صوتًا ملوكيًا

وقد أعود فأرسم الأشجار
ظلًا للحمائم

والقلم النديم
ودفقة الحلم التي انكسرت على شط الحقيقة
كم جنحت غسلت وجهي بالغناء
وكم صدقت زحمت ليلي بالجنون وبالظنون
وبالكتابة والرتابة والكآبة والسامة
بيتي قديم عند شط النيل
في وهم الخريطة
ربما
في شارع من دون لافتة
ومكتوب على جدرانه بالفحم
عفوًا ربما اندثرت
