ومن هنا يبرز هذا الكتاب ليؤكد حكم الإباحة وأن زواج المتعة حلال عند أهل السنة، وهو يعرض في سبيل التأكيد على موقفه أدلة كل من الطرفين السنة والشيعة، مقارنًا بينهما، ومبرزًا ومناقشًا روايات الخطر التي يمكن أن تدعم موقف القائلين بالإباحة.. وذلك بعد أن قام بالتعريف بزواج المتعة وبرسالته، وبموقف الإمام عمر بن الخطاب منه، وبالنظرة الشيعية لهذا الموضوع، كما قام بجمع بعض المناظرات والحوارات والردود التي جاءت على لسان عدد من رموز الطائفة الشيعية حول هذا الموضوع والتي تأكد إباحة هذا النوع من الزواج.
