إن أخلاق نبينا الكريم محمد "صلى الله عليه وسلم" القدوة الحسنة، نتعلم ونأخذ منها العظات، وتذرف العين على ما فرطنا عبرات، فقد مسينا أن غرف الجنة درجات، يسكن أعلاها الذين يسارعون في الخيرات، اللهم أغفر لنا واجعلنا معهم يا واسع الرحمات، ومن أخلاقه "صلى الله عليه وسلم" التواضع، وإكرام الضيف، فالتواضع: أفضل العبادة، وحلاوة العبادة، التواضع فقد جاءه "صلى الله عليه وسلم" رجل، فكلمه فأخذته رعدة، فقال رسول الله "صلة الله عليه وسلم" (هون عليك، فإني لست بملك، إنما أنا ابن امرأة من قريش تأكل القديد)، وقال "صلى الله عليه وسلم" (إن التواضع لا يزيد العبد إلا رفعة، فتواضعوا يرفعكم الله).
وأما إكرام الضيف فهو خلق كريم عنوانه (البشاشة في الوجه خير من تقديم الطعام، فكيف بمن يقدم الطعام لضيفه وهو ضاحك، متهلل الوجه، يكرم دابة ضيفه قبل إكرام الضيف نفسه؟)، ولهذا حثنا رسولنا الكريم على إكرام الضيف، فقد قال "صلى الله عليه وسلم" (من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليكرم ضيفه)، وقيل لإبراهيم الخليل - عليه السلام - بم اتخذك الله خليلًا؟! قال (بثلاث: ما خيرت بين شيئين إلا اخترت الذي لله على غيره، ولا اهتممت بما تكفل لي به، ولا تغديت ولا تعشيت إلا مع ضيف)
