"خريستو نجم" شاعر خصته "حياة المراد" بدراستها الشاملة هذه يوم عطفت بها العواطفُ لاختيار شاعر من مدينتها "الفيحاء" إظهاراً لبعدها الثقافي، فلم تكتف بالمنشور من أشعاره ولا بما كتب عنه في المناسبات... بل تعقبته صنيع "قاضي التحقيق" في ذكرياته وأوراقه الخاصة التي يحتفظ بها، في شهادات الأصدقاء والأهل، وفي الرسائل المتبادلة بين الشاعر وبين من أحَبّ... بحثاً عن القرائن والأدلة وشهود الواقعة، لتبني عليها "قرارها الظني" مستفيدة من اعترافات الشاعر ومن مقدّماته النثرية التي كان يقدّم بها لأمسياته، ومن أحاديثه الإذاعية، ومن دراساته التي عقدها عن نزار قباني وجميل بن معمر والياس أبي شبكة، والتي أسقط عليها تداعيات دخيلته ورهابه من المرأة ونرجسيته، وتوسل إلى استبطان مغاور النفس وعُقدها بمذهبه في التحليل النفسي، كاشفاً أدق التفاصيل مفسراً أعقد العواطف والمشاعر. ولم تكتف المؤلفة بذلك، بل أسندت تحليلاتها إلى كتابات الكثير من النقاد والباحثين من عرب وأجانب، في موضوعات الحب والتحليل النفسي والإبداع الفني والنقد الجمالي وقضايا التجديد في الشعر، ورهاب المرأة والنرجسية... فاتكأت على سيمون دوبوفوار، وبودلير، وبلاشير، وشارل بودوان وغيرهم.. فجاءت دراستها، غنية بمضمونها عميقة في تحليلها، على لغة سليمة إجمالاً، متينة التركيب، تنتقد مثيلاتها في الدراسات العليا. وقد مكنها ذلك تدريسها اللغة والأدب في الثانويات الرسمية منذ فترة طويلة.
