هذا الكتاب هو كتاب جامع لقواعد اللغة العربية بشكل مختصر ومبسط, فقد بدأ المؤلف بأصوات اللغة العربية, ومخارجها, ونطقها الصحيح, وصفاتها, وتناول الحركات التى تصحب الأصوات الرئيسة.
كما تناول المؤلف أبنية اللغة العربية التى تقاس عليها الألفاظ, فبين الأصل والمزيد والثابت والمتغير, وكذلك أبنية الأسماء ثم الأفعال وتصريفها, ومصادرها, ثم المشتقات وأقيستها والجموع والنسب.
وتناول الجملة العربية والقضايا التى تتعلق بها, وعلاقة الجملة بالمعنى وأثره فيها, والمؤثرات اللفظية فى الجملة, ثم تناول عناصرها وما يتعلق بها, واكتفى المؤلف بالحديث عن الموضوعات التى تهم المتعلم العربى وغير العربى دون مواضع الخلاف والقضايا التى يعجز عنها, كى لا يثقل عليه, فالهدف من الكتاب التيسير والترغيب فى تعلم العربية. ونسأل الله تعالى أن ينفع بهذا الكتاب قارئه, والله الموفق.
