وما هي إلا إحدى تجلّيات ثورة الإتصالات التي حوّلت العالم إلى قرية صغيرة؟ أم أنّ العولمة مشروعٌ مدروسٌ وخطّة متكاملة مصاغة بعناية فائقة، وبالتالي هو أقرب إلى مذهب وإتجاه له دعاته ومنظروه، وأصوله ومفاهيمه، ومنظومته القيميّة التي لها مقتضياتها التي تتنافى مع كلّ الخصوصيّات القومية والمحليّة؟ ما يعنينا على مستوى هذا الكتاب هو السؤال عن الدين وما يصيبه وما يطرأ عليه في عصر العولمة، وزمانها، فهل هي فرصة يجب الإستفادة منها وإستغلالها لخدمة الدين، أم العولمة وكل ما يرتبط بها تحدّ لا بد من مواجهته؟.
