يختلف الشيخ "أبو عبد الرحمن مقبل بن هادي الوادعي" مع الدكتور الشيخ " يوسف القرضاوي" في كثير من المسائل والقضايا. وقد جمع الشيخ " مقبل" هذه القضايا ورده فيها في هذا الكتاب. من هذه القضايا قيام المرأة بدورها في عهد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم.. ودعوة القرضاوي إلى الحوار مع اهل الكتاب، وقول القرضاوي بان الأصل في العقائد الإسلامية لابد وان تكون موافقة للعقل. وفي كذلك قول الله تعالى " وقرن في بيوتكن" ورفضه تأويل وقول القرضاوي فيها وفي حكمه حول ولاية المرأة ، وغيرها من القضايا التى رفض فيها المؤلف رأى القرضاوي رفضا تاما.
