والأخطر من ذلك ، التحول من الإستخدام السوي للإنترنت إلى الإدمان عليه وعلى برامجه وتطبيقاته ، كالإدمان على غرف الدردشة والتواصل ، أو على المواقع الإباحية أو الألعاب الإلكترونية والمخدرات الرقمية ... وما تركه ذلك من آثار على الأفراد والأسرة والمجتمع ومتابعة الدراسة ، وعلى الصحة النفسية والجسدية ...
إلا أن كل هذه المشاكل والمخاطر ينبغي ألا تؤدي إلى نبذ هذه الوسيلة أو الإنتقاص من استخدامها ، لأن إمكان السيطرة عليها والوقاية منها ومعالجتها يبقى موجوداً .
