شافي العليل لعبد الله بن محمد النجري اليماني، المتوفى سنة 877هـ كتاب يتضمن شرحاً مختصراً الآيات الأحكام، أراده المؤلف أن يكون مدخلاً لطلاب العلم إلى معرفة آيات الأحكام الشرعية، وهو يعمد إلى ذكر جزء من الآية ثم ما دلت عليه من أحكام ثم يذكر الخلاف، ولا يبحث في معاني مفردات الآية إلا عند الضرورة، وقد ذاع صيت هذا الكتاب وانتشر بين العلماء وتداولته الأيدي. وقد بذل المحقق جهداً كبيراً لإخراج الكتاب بهذا الشكل فالنسخة التي اعتمد عليها هي من أقدم المخطوطات، التي كتبت في القرن العاشر أو في القرن الذي قبله، وقد عمد إلى توثيقها بالمقابلة على نسخ أخرى، وبالرجوع إلى كتاب الثمرات الذي يبدو أنه الأصل الذي اختصر منه المؤلف كتابه.
كما قام المحقق بوضع الرموز والعلامات في المواضع التي يلزم دراستها والتعليق عليها وقسم الصفحة إلى قسمين جعل أعلاها للنص وجعل القسم الثاني للتحقيق والتعليق، وفصل ما بينهما بخط, والتزام في الكتابة بقواعد الإملاء الحديث، ووضع علامات الترقيم كما صحح الآيات القرآنية التي كتبت خطا، وأثبت عبارات الصلاة والتسليم التي رمز إليها في الأصل، وقام بتخريج الآيات القرآنية في الهامش وشرح مفرداتها، ونبه على الأخطاء العلمية التي وقع فيها المؤلف من غير قصد في عشرات المواضع.
