لا شك أن كل متصفح لديوان "أوريـات" يسمع صرخة قلب كليم، أضناه الهجر، صرخة قلب يئن على إيقاع وخزات قضيض ماض كان قطعة من الجنة، وقد أضحى اليوم خناجر ذكرى ومدى تطارده عبر أدغال السهاد، صرخة قلب طريد يقطع لاهثاً خلف سكينته غابات الأرق حبلى بسموم الذكرى، يشحذ لحظة نوم، سنة، أو غفوة عادت ترفاً ورغبة لا تتحقق كالمنى.
من ألف الديوان إلى يائه، يشكو آلام بعد محا رسم هواه بعد وصال رفع صرحه إلى السماوات العلا. والشاعر في ذلك يمتح من تجارب ذاتية، ومن أخرى عايشها في محيطه الاجتماعي والثقافي. لم تبق الكلمة في الديوان مجرد فسحة، بل أضحت حاجة نفسية ملحة، وملاذاً من هجير البعد، وصقيع الهجر.
ظل الديوان يطفو على البحور الخليلية، إيقاعاته من رحم أوزانها، أعاد الديوان تشكيل مادتها، تارة مع كثير من التوفيق، وتارة أخرى مع بعض من التشويش، معتمداً على تفعيلات الرجز والرمل والكامل، أحياناً صافية وأخرى ممزوجة. وهو في ذلك يحرص على تنويع في القافية. من قصائد الديوان:
نداء الرحيل/ حبٌّ يترنح/ قصيدة القلب/ رُفع القلم/ يا لائمي في الهوى مجنون بنت الريف/ سيدتي/ املأ القلب هوى/ اعتراف/ سـان فلانتان ليس حباً ما تدعي/ أشطب القلب/ شهرزاد/ حبُّ الذليل/ أحفظ الـود.
