محمد سعيد القشاط (ولد عام 1942)في بلدة الجوش) حصل على إجازة التدريس العامة من معهد المعلمين بطرابلس 1959, وعلى دبلوم الصحافة العالي من جامعة القاهرة 1963, وعلى الدكتوراة من جامعة المجر 1986. عمل بالتدريس من عام 1959إلى 1969, ثم بالصحافة حتى عام 1976, وتولى فيها مناصب كان آخرها إدارة المؤسسة العامة للصحافة، كما عمل مديراً لمركز شؤون الصحراء، ثم سفيراً لبلاده في الرياض.

يوم وُلدت تُوفّي نجيب سرور في مشفى للأمراض العقلية، وكانت مونيكا بيلوتشي لا تزال تعمل «موديل» في الصحف المحليّة. أمّي كانت – كعادتها – تجمع الحطب وتشعل النار تحت تنّورها لتصنع لنا الخبز. رأيت بابا نويل عدّة مرات على شاشة التلفاز. انتظرته طويلاً في الليالي الباردة لكنّه لم يأتِ. حقدتُ عليه وتمنّيتُ أن تعتقله المخابرات بتهمة توهين نفسيّة الأمّة.
عشت في بيت مزدحم لا يعترف بخصوصيّة أحد. كنّا ننام جميعاً في غرفة واحدة. وكانت لدينا مكتبة كبيرة، تحتلّ مؤلّفات ماركس ولينين أغلب رفوفها. كنت صغيراً عندما قرأت «الأبله» و«وداعاً يا غوليساري»، لكنّني لم أنتسب إلى الحزب الشيوعي. ببساطة، لم أشأ أن أنتهي مَخصيّاً في إسطبل الإيديولوجيا.
لا أعرف ما هو الباليه ولا أحبّ الأوركسترا، وتبهجني الأغنية الشعبيّة أكثر من السيمفونيّة السادسة لتشايكوفسكي. أحبّ ميريل ستريب ودانيال دي لويس، وأحلم بحضور حفل جوائز الأوسكار برفقة أنجلينا جولي. خرجت من مدينتي بعدما احتلّها السواد. قطعت الحدود والأسلاك الشائكة لأصبح رقماً في سجلّ، وصورة تصلح لأن تتصدّر الصفحة الأولى في جريدة. أعيش الآن في غرفة لها نافذة وحيدة تطلّ على الحرب، وباب لا يطرقه أحد، أقرأ «كسميّات» نجيب سرور ولا أشعر بالأسف.
