على أثر قراءة "ياسين سويد" لكتاب العهد القديم وما يتصل بهذا الموضوع من مصدر ومراجع وأبحاث، وخصوصاً "التلمود" وبروتوكلات حكماء صهيون. تكونت لديه فكرة شاملة وعميقة عن تأثير التعاليم الدينية (التوراتية والتلمودية) في كون العقيدة العسكرية الصهيونية، (يهودية العصر الحديث)، لذلك عكف على البحث في التاريخ لبني إسرائيل من خلال كتابهم، مستعينً في ذلك بالعديد من المصادر المراجع، القديم منها والحديث، مناقشاً الأحداث ما أمكن تارة، وسارداً إياها تارة أخرى وذلك وفقاً لحاجة كل حدث إلى المناقشة أو عدمها ومحاولاً في كل حال؛ أن يبين (لاعقلانية) معظم الأحداث الواردة في "كتاب اليهود" ولا منطقيتها ولا واقعيتها، ومبرهناً، بالعديد من الحجج الدامغة.
واستكمالاً للبحث لم يكتف بما ورد في العهد القديم من حروب، بل جاوزه إلى العهود التي تلت العهد القديم، مثل الحروب في العهود المتأخرة للمكابيين، ثم حروب اليهود ضد الرومان. إلا أنه أهم ما بينه المؤلف في هذا البحث، هو أن العبرانيين قد خرجوا من مصر وتاهوا في سيناء...
هذا وقد تحدث المؤلف عن حروب يشوع وحروب القضاة، وحروب الملوك مع أهل البلاد الأصليين، وحروب العبرانيين مع الفراعنة والكوشيين والآشوريين والكلدانيين. ثم عن ثورة المكابيين ضد السلوقيين. كل ذلك جاء مدعماً بالعديد من المخططات والرسوم والصور الفوتوغرافية، والخرائط التي تبين مسار الحروب التي مارستها الصهيونية ضد العرب.
يقدّم هذا الكتاب قراءة جديدة للعهد القديم، ويدرس سلوك العبرانيين في الحرب استناداً إلى معتقداتهم التوراتية، ويكشف الجذور الدينية للعقيدة العسكرية، كما يمارسها الصهاينة ضد العرب في الزمن الحاضر. إن معرفة العدو جزء من معرفة النفس.
