شغلت قضية الرؤى والأحلام جانبًا كبيرًا من اهتمامات الناس,وتهافتوا عليها؛لما تمثله لهم من محاولة تفسير للمستقبل وتأويله, وتشتمل الرؤى على أشياء كثيرة منها: الخير والشر,الحسن والسيء, البشارة والنذارة, وغير ذلك الكثير مما يشغل الأذهان. والرؤيا الصادقة إلهام من الله للعبد وبشرى له, أما السيئة فمن الشيطان, وهي ما نطلق عليها أضغاث أحلام.
أما تفسير الرؤى فيحتاج إلى العلماء؛ لأنه قد يلجأ بعض الناس إلى الجهلاء لتفسير رؤاهم, فيفسرونها لهم بالخطأ, لأن الرؤى تختلف من شخص لآخر, وقد تكون رؤيا واحدة لشخصين لكن التأويل مختلف. جاء رجل إلى ابن سيرين, فقال: رأيت كأنّي أؤذن. فقال: تحج، وأتاه آخر فقال: رأيت كأنّي أؤذن. فقال: تقطع يدك. قيل له: كيف فرقت بينهما؟ قال: رأيت للأول سيما حسنة، فأولت: (وَأَذِّن فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالاً وَعَلَى كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِن كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ) [الحج: 27], ورأيت للثاني سيما غير صالحة فأولت: (ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌ أَيَّتُهَا الْعِيرُ إِنَّكُمْ لَسَارِقُونَ) [يوسف: 70].
من هنا جاء هذا الكتاب- عزيزي القارئ- لفهم طبيعة الرؤى وأنواعها, مع التعريف بقواعد تعبير الرؤى وضوابط ذلك, والشروط التي يجب توافرها فيمن يعبر الرؤى, وأقسام الناس بالنسبة للرؤى, مع الاستشهاد ببعض الرؤى التي عبرها النبي (صلي الله عليه وسلم) لأصحابه.
