Book Description
يتناول هذا الكتاب بالدراسة، عدداً من البحوث والمقالات عن عصر الحروب الصليبية فى بلاد الشام خلال القرنين 12، 13م / 6،7 هـ والذى يمثل مرحلة مؤثرة وفعالة فى تاريخ العلاقات بين الشرق والغرب فى العصور الوسطى.
أما البحث الأول، فقد تناول فكرة الجهاد الإسلامي فى بلاد الشام خلال العصر المذكور، ويلاحظ هنا أن تلك الفكرة عدت- ويحق- فكرة محورية من خلالها يمكن فهم رد فعل المسلمين على مقدم الغزو الصليبى الغاشم لبلادهم.
واتجه البحث الثانى إلى دراسة دور النرويج من خلال ملكها سيجورد الذى قام بحملة صليبية خلال المرحلة من 1107 إلى 1110م لدعم ممكلة بيت المقدس الصليبية، ومن بعد ذلك اتجه البحث الثالث إلى دراسة الطب فى المناطق الصليبية خلال المرحلة الواقعة بين عامى 1098م- 1174م/491- 570هـ، ويهدف إلى دراسة أوجه التأثير والتأثر من خلال المواجهة الحضارية بين المسلمين والصليبيين وذلك بعد أن انقشع غبار المعارك وتعايش الجانبان على أرض واحدة.
وأختص البحث الرابع بدراسة الموازنة فى لبنان ودورهم عصر الحروب الصليبية، ويلاحظ هنا أن الحركة الصليبية عملت على استغلال التركيبة الطائفية فى بلاد الشام، من أجل الحصول على دعم بعض القوى المحلية لصالح تلك الحركة، أما إذا اتجهنا صوب البحث الخامس، فنجده اهتم بدراسة معركة أرسوف التى جرت بين المسلمين بقيادة صلاح الدين الأيوبي والصليبيين بقيادة ريتشارد قلب الأسد من بعد ذلك، اتجه المقال الخاص بنور الدين محمود ومانويل كومنين إلى دراستهما من خلال رؤية مقارنة من خلال عصر الحروب الصليبية، من أجل كشف النقاب عن مكانة كل منهما فى صنع الأحداث.
وأخيراً، اتجه المقال الخاص بالدكتور أحمد فؤاد سيد (1951- 2005م) إلى دراسة إسهاماته التاريخية حيث قدم لنا عدداً وافراً من الدراسات منها ما اتصل بتاريخ الأيوبيين.
