وعليه، يتناول هذا الكتاب الإعلام والتكنولوجيا التفاعلية عبر أربعة فصول رئيسة، الفصل الأول "الإعلام التفاعلي" والذي ينقسم بدوره إلى ثلاثة مباحث هي: الإعلام وعلاقته بالإتصال، التفاعلية في الإعلام، والتكنولوجيا وعولمة الإعلام، والفصل الثاني "الحوسبة النقالة" والذي يتضمن ثلاثة مباحث هي: الحاسوب وشبكة الإنترنت، النشر الإلكتروني، وإعلام الهاتف المحمول، والفصل الثالث "تطبيقات الويب 2" والذي يضم مبحثين هما: مواقع الإعلام التفاعلي، ونماذج لأبرز المواقع، أما الفصل الرابع "الإعلام السياسي التفاعلي" فيتضمن ثلاثة مباحث هي: الإعلام وعلاقته بالسياسة، الوظائف والتأثيرات السياسية للإعلام، وأثر التكنولوجيا على الإعلام السياسي.
