وقد عالجت المحاضرات عدداً من الأبعاد المختلفة للتحولات التي شهدها الأردن خلال عقد التسعينات من القرن العشرين، لا سيما في مجالات السياسة والقضاء والإدارة والاقتصاد، إضافة إلى التنمية الاجتماعية والزراعة والغذاء والرعاية الصحية، فضلاً عن مجالات الطاقة والتربية والتعليم والإعلام والصحافة والمشهد الثقافي العام.
ولعل المتتبع للتطور الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والثقافي في الأردن، يلحظ بأن العقد الماضي لم يكن عقد تحولات مهمة وجذرية في المجالات المذكورة فحسب، بل كان عقد إصلاح محوري في كثير من المجالات الأخرى، لا سيما وأن مطلع هذا العقد قد شهد بداية مسار ديمقراطي جاد في البلاد.
ومن المؤمل، أن يسهم هذا الإصدار في إضاءة تلك التحولات التي يتوقع لها أن تترك آثارها المهمة على مسيرة الإصلاح في الأردن خلال القرن الجديد.
