ليس من الضروري يعد اليوم أن تتعلم الإنكليزية لأنك على وشك السفر إلى خارج البلاد، وليس من الضرورة أن تتعلمها لأنك تود التقديم إلى شركة مرموقة تتطلب شروط العمل فيها أن تكون من المتحدثين بالإنكليزية، فلن تحتاج إلى مبرر ليمنحك دافع لتعلم هذه اللغة، فهي بالفعل موجودة بيننا من خلال دخول بعض مفرداتها في لغتنا اليومية الدارجة وموجودة إبتداءً من واجهات المحلات والأجهزة الإلكترونية وإنتهاءً بالتلفاز وشبكة الإنترنت، وعن طريق هذه الأخيرة، لن تحتاج بعد اليوم للذهاب وراء البحار والتجوال بين الأمصار، يكفيك جهاز صغير لينقلك إلى وراء المحيطات لتتكلم مع جميع الأجناس والألوان بلغة يتعلمها الجميع في المشارع والمغارب لأنها لغة عالمية وأصبحت من متطلبات الحياة العصرية.
وهذا الكتاب مخصص بالدرجة الأساس للطلاب بالمستوى المتوسط (الطلاب الذين لديهم إلمام في أساسيات قواعد اللغة الإنكليزية)، ولكنه لبساطته يصلح لكافة المستويات، ويمكن الإستفادة منه دون الحاجة للرجوع إلى المدرس، فهو يعتبر مرجع قيم للطلبة الذين يجدون صعوبة في الإجابة على تساؤلاتهم حول بعض قواعد اللغة الإنكليزية، ناهيك عن سلاسة الطرح وبساطة التقديم ومتعة القراءة.
وهو يركز بالأخص على تراكيب الجمل التي يود الطلبة إستخدامها ويجدون صعوبة فيها وغالباً ما يرتكبون الأخطاء عند إستخدامها، إن الطلاب من المستوى المتقدم يجدون الفائدة أيضاً بقراءة هذا الكتاب والإستفادة منه وكذلك المدرسين.
