كانت سيرة الصحابة رضي الله عنهم - وما زالت - مورداً عذباً للراغبين في الإقتداء بالنماذج الإيمانية الراقية، وأي نماذج يمكن أن ترقى إلى ما رباه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم من صحابته؟...
وللخلفاء الراشدين الأربعة، رضي الله عنهم منزلة في الصحابة لا تدانيها منزلة، ولذلك كانت سيرهم بحراً يستمد منه المؤلفون عطر حياتهم، ومداد مواقفهم، ونماذج سلوكهم.
وأظن أن الأمر سيبقى كذلك ما بقي كاتب يرجو أن يقترن اسمه بأسماء أولئك الرجال العظام، وأن يكتب له أجر نشر عبق سيرهم.
والأخت منال قطيشات من هؤلاء الذين يرجون التقرب إلى الله عزّ وجلّ بتأليف هذا الكتاب، "من عبق الخلفاء الراشدين رضي الله عنهم".
ونلحظ أنها قد اتبعت في الكتابة منهجاً حاولت فيه وضع قوالب أو عناوين شبه متشابهة في معظم فصول الكتاب، لتقدم نوعاً من الصور النمطية عن الخلفاء الراشدين رضي الله عنهم.
وقد اجتهدت المؤلفة في الرجوع إلى عدد من المراجع التي تحدثت عنهم، واستفادت من تلك المراجع شكلاً ومضموناً، كما حرصت على إخراج كتابها إخراجاً يليق بالموضوع، تنسيقاً ورشاقة.
