وضّحت الكاتبة في هذا الكتاب إيماءات صحويّة إلى التباسات العقل في مسألة منظومة الموت والحياة، ولم تمرَّ على عقائد وتقاليد بجهر صريح، فبطَّنتها بدلالات أخفتها خلف إصبع قلمها، واكتفت.
تطلُّ، بلا تحفُّظ، على الفلاسفة الإغريقييّن، تعرِّج على منابع "روح الفهم"، تتلقَّف بحرص مناسك الأديان، وتنحت من الطقوس ملكوتاً على الأرض "أفلاطونيَّ" المدينة، وترى إلى السماء عدلاً مطلقاً لا يستثني من المخاليق روحاً.
أرادت نازك الحلبي يحيى أن لا يقرأ حاضن كتابها الواضحَ والسّاطعَ، شأنها شأن الخفر الذي يضيف على الجماليَّة رهافة وعلى الرَّهيف جمالاً. تكاد، وهي تسكب قهوة الصباح، وتسامر الحبيب، تتقصَّد جرَّه إلى الاعتراف بحقِّ المرأة في أن لا تكون نصفه الآخر، لتصل به ومعه إلى مسح الوجوه وتركها بلا ملامح.
ترسم نازك الحلبي جداريّات بالكلمات ومتى أكملت لوحة أتبعتها بما يضاضدها، لحيرة العقل في انتساب الإنسان إلى مخلوقيته من الله وفي حكمة الله من الخلق.
هذه الـ "نازك" تلزمك بمتابعة حواريّاتها مع من تسامر، كأنَّك أمام رواية غير مسرودة، وتنعطف بك إلى مناجاة ذاتها، وكأنَّها تضع أمامك مرآة تريك فيها ما إلى القول: هذا أنا، هذه هي، هذا نحن.
تنبري الكاتبة لمنظومة "الحداثة" فلا تجدنا إلّا متجذِّرين في الاجترار والتكرار كموج البحر أما أمتنا فتستعذب قصص الوجع والدمع. وأما وطننا فيقارب كذبة "رحبانيَّة" انطلت علينا.
وبعد،
«بَدءٌ لا ينتهي» فكر مهجريٌ نهضويٌ حديث، يحاكي العقل بالعقل، والقلب بالقلب، يحمل توقيع "نازك الحلبي يحيى" من بلاد "العم سام" حيث تقيم الكاتبة العاتبة على تراجع الفلسفة أمام العلوم في بلاد الناس، وعلى وطن لا يصدِّر إلّا الأدمغة.
هذا الكتاب، وهذه الكاتبة، من الثراء الثقافي ما يعبِّد أمام الأدب النسويِّ طريقاً آمناً، لطالب معرفة نقيَّة، ولقارئ يستعذب الماء من رؤوس منابعها.
