هذا الكتاب دراسة فقهية مقارنة فيها الباحث أنواع نسك الحج الثلاثة وأى منها أفضل مع فرد لجميع الأراء. فمن المعروف أن النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم لم يحج إلا حجة واحدة هى حجة الوداع. وبالتالى إختلفت أقوال العلماء فى النسك الذى أحرم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم به فجاءت أقوال انه كان مفردا واخرى متمتعا وثالثة قارنا وإستغل هذه النقاط الجهال والملحدين وطعنوا في هذه الأحاديث فيتناول الكتاب كل هذا مع التمهيد بتعريف الحج وحكمة وفضلة وشروط وجوبه ثم ينتقل إلى انواع النسك وحكم التخيير بينها وحكم فسخ الحج إلى عمرة وأخيراً تحقيق النسك الذى أحرم به النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم وأيهم أفضل.
