لن يكون عبثاً إسترجاع فلسفة لودفيج فويرباخ (1804- 1872) لِما تمثله من محور في الدراسات المتعلقة بفلسفة الدين، فهذه الشخصية مؤسسة فعلية لهذا الفرع المعرفي، بل يمكننا القول إنها الناظم لوظيفته وموضوعه ورهاناته.
فــ "فويرباخ" قارب الدين من منظور جديد، تعدى من سبقه من الفلاسفة، إن لم نقل نقد نظرتهم للأمور، عبر إعطاء قيمة كبرى لما هو أنثروبولوجي، والمتتبع لمسار نظرية هذه الفيلسوف حول الدين، يلاحظ جمعه بين التحليل والنقد والتصور التاريخي، والتأويل العميق للنصوص والرموز الدينية، دون نسيان ربطه الديني وبعض التصورات في الفلسفة اللاهوتية أو التأملية، بالسياسة والإجتماع.
وهذا ما يضعنا أمام قراءة فلسفية جديدة للدين، أخرج بواسطتها من التقليد اللاهوتيّ، وتحوّل إلى قضية أنثربولوجية، من خلال النفاذ إلى أعمق قضية راهنة وهي؛ العلاقة بين الدين والإغتراب، بين الدين والحرية والإرادة، بين الدين والعلاقات الإنسانية.
وإن كان "فويرباخ" وفلسفته عكساً روح العصر وشكلاً ثورةً في الفلسفة الألمانية، وأثاراً عاصفةً من الردود والمواقف، وكانا دافعاً لحراك كبير على الساحة الفكرية، فهما في هذا الوقت قد يكونا مورد حاجة، فمع إزدياد حضور الدين، وما يفرضه من تحديات كبيرة تستلزم ضرورة تطوير مبحث فلسفة الدين بما يتلاءم ومستجدات العصر والنقاشات الراهنة المتعلقة به، يكون من الضروري إعادة قراءة خطاب "فويرباخ" ورثته حول الدين، وفق لغة ومنطق جديدين.
