The fundamental components characteristics of electric circuits –resistors, capacitors, and transistors, logic circuits are explained in details and their values are calculated during its circuit is operating. This book deals with very important subjects and it considered a course requirements of computer science department in all universities which give computer electronics. On another hand this book have five chapters as well as a lot of solved problems, the chapters are as follows: Chapter one deals with the charge, current, voltage, resistances, simple circuits, Ohm’s law, circuit analysis, Kirshoff’s rules, Wheatstone bridge, Thevenins circuits, and solved problems. Chapter two deals with the alternating current circuits and Inductors in an AC Circuit, capacitors filter circuits, transformer, and others Chapter three deals with semiconductors properties, electron orbits or shells, energy bands in solids, valance and conduction bands, conductors, semiconductors and insulators, types of semiconductors, reverse biased P-N junction, reverse saturation current ( , forward biased P-N junction, the application of the diode and advantages of full-wave bridge circuits. Finally solved problems. Chapter four introduces digital logic families such as; transistor operations, transistor or gate, transistor not gate, NAND diode-transistor equivalent gate, NOR transistor equivalent gate, main logic families and transistor circuit configurations. Finally solved problem. Chapter five introduces you Basic Digital Circuits, where the basic operations are AND, OR, NOT, and Flip-Flop in a digital system All the electric circuits in this book are graphed electronically using Microsoft Visio 2003 software. Finally the author depended on a recent and specific reference which deals with electricity, magnetism, logic circuits, and modern physics.
