تتناول هذه الدراسة التحليلية النقدية لموضوع القيم في فلسفة ماكس شلر، والتي يتم تقسيمها على ثمانية فصول توزعت على الشكل التالي: الفصل الأول: يتناول حياة شلر ومراحل تطوره، وأختلاق الشراح والمعلقين حلو فلسفته ثم عرض لاهم مؤلفاته من وجهة نظر البحث.
الفصل الثاني: يعرض الفلسفة الفينومينولوجيا عند شلر لبيان كيف طبقها شلر على القيم وكان لابد أن نتناول الفينومينولوجيا عند هوسرل أولاً لمعرفة ما أضافه شلر إليها.
الفصل الثالث: لكي تعرف مكانة الأخلاق فى فلسفة شلر كان لابد أن نتناول هذا الفصل فلسفته وميتافزيقياه والمعرفة لديه ومدي إرتباطها بالقيم.
الفصل الرابع: تمّ تخصيص هذا الفصل للجانب السلبي من فلسفته وهو نقضه للقيم عند المدارس السابقة والمعاصرة.
الفصل الخامس: يتناول هذا الفصل تعريف القيم عند شلر، والمعايير التي وضعها لترتيب القيم ودور الفينومينولوجيا في إدراك القيم أو الوصول اليها.
الفصل السادس: يتناول التدرج الهرمي للقيم، وعلاقتها بحامليها، والقيم بأعتبارها موضوعات قصدية للمشاعر.
الفصل السابع: يتحدث عن الأخلاق اللاصورية عند شلر وكيف أنها الأساس الذي أنطلق منه شلر إلى القيم.
الفصل الثامن: يتحدث عن الثمرة النهائية لكل ما سبق من خلال نظرية عن الأنسان وفلسفته الشخصانية ومستويات التجربة الأخلاقية عند شلر وهي التواصل بين الذوات، وأفعال العاطفة والتفضيل أو النفور، والحب ومستوياته ثم حديثه أو تصوره عن الذات الإلهية وعلاقة الإنسان بها.
