كانت تقف في شرفة المنزل المجاور، تزينت بثوبٍ زهري ووشاح شفاف يغطي قسماً من شعرها المتكحل بلون الليل في ساعة زلفة، وقسمٌ آخر يتطاير بتناسقٍ ويرتحل من كتف الى كتف تناغماً مع النسمات الخريفية الهادئة، وكأنما يتراقص على ترانيم عذبة كالتي كانت تشدو بها، كانتا عيناه صوب وجهها الذي لم يبدُ منه سوى النصف الايسر منه، كاد الفضول أن يجني عليه، ولا يزال يبحر في وقار عينيها المستفزتين بسوادهما المحاصر بهالةٍ عسلية، تقدمت باتجاهه خطوتين.. ليرنَّ صوت خلخالها المموَّه بالذهب، بسمةُ العذراوات الخجولة أبانت غمّازتين ترتسم على خدَّيها المضيئيْن تزيد من جمالها المثالي، ليعتلج الاعجاب بقلب الشاب اعتلاج الامواج.
