هذا الكتاب هام يناقش أهم قضايا المصطلح الصوفي مناقشة واعية بالكتاب والسنة، وكذلك بالحجة والدليل والبرهان القائم علي الحق، ومن عنوان الكتاب تستطيع ان تدرك أهم قضايا الكتاب، فيكفي أن يشير العنوان إلي أنه: "إجابة الغوث..." لتدرك مطلب المؤلف، وهذا يعني أنه هذه الإجابة علي أسئلة طرحها المستغيث بالعارفين لمعرفة هذه الأمور التي باتت ملحة ومقلقة من المنكرين علي أهل الله تعالي وأوليائه.
ويتكون من أربعة أبواب وخاتمة: الباب الأول: جعله المؤلف في بيان الأقطاب، والأبدال، والأوتاد، والنجباء، والنقباء وقد توقف المؤلف عن كل مصطلح من هذه المصطلحات علي حدة، أما الباب الثاني: فقد كتب المؤلف عن ما ورد في الكلام فيهم من الآثار النبوية الدالة علي وجودهم، وفضلهم علي سائر البرية، ثم الباب الثالث: عقده في الكلام علي بعض أحوال القطب الغوث، في تأييد حول أهم أحواله وأشهرها، ونموذج لإجابات القطب سيدي علي الخواص، وأبي مدين وكعادته في كل باب يعقد فصلاً مستقلاً حول أهم ما يناقشه في الباب، أما الباب الرابع: تكلم فيه علي ما ينزل علي القطب من البلاء وغيره وكيفية تصرفه، أما الخاتمة: فقد استطرد فيها حول بعض الكرامات، وخوارق العادات من ألسنة السادات، ثم أورد تتمة: استكمل فيها ما بدأه من الكلام حول الأولياء، وكراماتهم وأخبارهم، ثم نهاية الرسالة أورد قصيدة جميلة جدا في التوسل بأهل الله وأوليائه الصالحين تقع في 26 بيتاً من تأليفه ونظمه الخاص.
