تحاول هذه الدّراسة أن تقدم فهماً جديداً للمجاز عند المفكرين العرب ممن تركوا بصمةً واضحةً في التّجديد الفكري والمعرفي وضمن الامتدادات المعرفيّة المتنوعة الاتجاهات حتَّى تمارس لحظة الكشف عن المخفي/أو/المُضمَر/أو/المسكوت عنه (المعرفة خارج نصّيّة) /أو/اللامفكَّر فيه، ضمن حركة دورانيّة بين (الظّاهر/و/المُغيّب)، وهذه الحركيّة في المجاز تمرّ بمرحلتين: إثبات ونفي، إثبات سلطته المطلقة على المعنى في النصّ، ونفي تلك السّلطة بعد تهشيم المعنى في النصّ، فهو بين أفول المعنى وتشظيّه، وبين سلطته المطلقة ونفوذه في النصّ ضمن فعل (التّخيل)، ليفعّل شبكته ضمن سلسلة وظائف تهدف إلى إيصال المعنى على المستوى الإفرادي والتّركيبي في نطاق شمولي (كلّيّ) يتقصى المعنى وظلاله، ويدور معه في أُطره ويعمل على إشراك القارئ في استجلاب ذلك المعنى وتقصيه، فالمجاز حصلت فيه تحولات أثرت على فهم النصّ والوقوف على المعنى وظلاله وما زالت هذه التّحولات تدور في فلكه وتأطر، ولذا قامت فكرة هذه الدّراسة على الكشف عن الآليات القديمة في تناول النصّ المُقدَّس في محاولة للاقتراب من الكيفيّات التي تمت بها القراءات والتّكوينات التي انبثقت عنها، ومن ثُمَّ الكشف عن الآليات الجديدة التي تحاول الكشف عن المعنى وظلاله الذي لم تستطع تلك الآليات الكشف عنه، ومن ثُمَّ الكشف عن تقانة المجاز في الفكر العربي المعاصر والوقوف على الدّيالكتيك الفكري عند أهم الأعلام والباحثين العرب حول الفهم الجديد للنصّ المركزي الأوّل في الثّقافة العربية (القرآن).
