ابن أبي الحديد (586 - 656 هـ = 1190 - 1258 م)
عبد الحميد بن هبة الله بن محمد بن الحسين بن أبي الحديد، أبو حامد، عز الدين: عالم بالأدب، من أعيان المعتزلة، له شعر جيد واطلاع واسع على التاريخ.
ولد في المدائن، وانتقل إلى بغداد، وخدم في الدواوين السلطانية، وبرع في الإنشاء، وكان حظيا عند الوزير ابن العلقمي.
له (شرح نهج البلاغة - ط) و (الفلك الدائر على المثل السائر - ط) و (نظم فصيح ثعلب - خ) و (القصائد السبع العلويات - ط) و (العبقري الحسان) في الأدب، و (شرح الآيات البينات للفخر الرازي - خ) رأيته في الاسكوريال (المجموعة 33) و (الاعتبار) على كتاب الذريعة للمرتضى، ثلاثة أجزاء، و (ديوان شعر).

Book Description
ابن أبي الحديد أديب شاعر اشتغل بالفقه والأصول كان على التشيع فصار معتزليا جاحظيا . وتعدد علومه هي التي جعلته يقدم على شرح نهج البلاغة المنسوب إلى الإمام علي، بعد أن شرحه الراوندي مقتصرا على جهة تخصصه وهي الفقه، فشرحه ابن أبي الحديد مبينا ما فيه من بلاغة وبيان، شارحا الكلمات الغريبة عربيا، مفصلا الروايات المختلفة مصرحا بقول أصحابه المعتزلة وأحيانا إمامه الجاحظ . وقد جعل قول الإمام علي بعد كلمة الأصل وقوله بعد الشرح مستعينا فيه بكل علومه وفنونه وقد قدم للكتاب بالحكم على البغاة والخوارج، وفي الإمامة، ثم نسب الرضي أبي الحسن الموسوي جامع نهج البلاغة . وختم الكتاب بذكر 998 حكمة منسوبة لأمير المؤمنين وقد زود الكتاب بمجلد للفهارس العلمية.
